Founded on World Mental Health Day 2014, Bantry Community Choir, work in close partnership with West Cork Mental Health Services (WCMHS) and West Cork Development Partnership. Co-founders Nora Edgeworth (Mental health Advocate) & Kevin O’Shanahan (Nurse specialist in mental health and the arts with WCMHS) initiated the choir with an ethos of community, inclusion, social interaction and participation for all. This ethos remains at the fore today & members share a belief in the benefits of music and singing to positive mental health and well-being for all.
Come join us for a night of music by the Beatles to Bob Marley via traditional music and more.
