Day 23

It has been a few days of swift readjustment and for many, disappointment and worry. As we enter back into tighter restrictions, we may find our mental health challenged. Click here for information on minding our mental health during COVID-19.

Today, we needed some inspiration, so we are sharing some of the things that have inspired us over the last number of weeks.

Our volunteers and fundraisers are a massive inspiration to all the staff at Mental Health Ireland. We wanted to say a big THANK YOU for everything you have done in 2020!

Another great inspiration for us is Linn Dara’s Christmas Cracker Countdown.
Two boxes of Jenga were transformed into a Winter Wonderland by the imagination and creativity of the young people there.

Listen to our latest podcast ‘Looking Back and Moving Forward with Dr Tony Bates and Senator Lynn Ruane‘.

Some of the wonderful members of Yarn Bombing Mountmellick joined us for a chat about creativity, friendship and mental health.

Brian Farrell performs one of his own songs, ‘Ballad of No Man’, a song about the battles of old, the challenges of now, and hope for the future.

One of our highlights this year was hosting the European Empowerment Webinar. People came together from across Europe to share their experiences of mental health challenges, recovery and empowerment. Find out more here.
