Take charge of your mental health
Mental Health is everyone’s responsibility – it is a fundamental part of who we are. It determines and influences so many aspects to our lives, how we view ourselves, our relationships, our work etc. But how much do you really know about it and how to look after it?
Mental Health Ireland provides a number of training and workshop options to individuals, workplaces and communities all over Ireland. Throughout the country Mental Health Ireland’s team of Development Officers support communities and local businesses delivering our Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshops.
Our four hour module is an introduction to the topic of mental health and well-being and is aimed at promoting Mental Health in workplace and community settings. We also offer a 90 minute workshop exploring the Five Ways to Wellbeing to both groups where participants will develop a plan to incorporate the Five Ways to Wellbeing into their daily lives.
Mental Health Ireland also works in partnership with Adult Continuing Education (ACE), at University College Cork to provide a one year part time “Mental Health in the Community” certificate programme. This programme, which is accredited through UCC is currently enrolling for participants in five locations around Ireland. For further details see Certificate Course.
