Mental Health Month takes place throughout October and October 10th marks World Mental Health Day. Throughout the whole month, we make mental health and wellbeing a national priority with a programme of events, activities and workshops.

World Mental Health Day provides the opportunity to raise awareness about global mental health issues and creates the opportunity for people to call for action and advocate for change in mental health.

Throughout the whole of October, we are making mental health and wellbeing a national priority with a programme of events, activities and workshops. Together, we can ensure that everyone across the country is involved in creating a culture that supports mental health and wellbeing.

Mental Health Month 2025 -There’s lots of ways to get involved!

Celebrating community

Our theme for Mental Health Month this year is Community. Community is important for us to thrive, to grow and connect with others and taking part in community activities, like volunteering, boosts our self-esteem, confidence and overall wellbeing. We will be celebrating community, exploring the importance of community, talking to you about your community and offering events, workshops and activities around the country for the whole month of October
