The Wellbeing Fair will be held on Thursday, 9th of October from 10am to 2pm in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick on Shannon. There will be a range of stands with information from all agencies working in the area of positive mental health and wellbeing. There are also three free workshops to choose from including:

‘How to be happy and content’ talk with bestselling author and speaker John Lonergan will take place in Drumkeerin Community Centre on Wednesday 8th October at 7.00 pm. John is the former governor of Mountjoy Prison and his renowned talks are known for their depth, relatability, and inspirational content.

Connect Cafés, Leitrim

Connect Cafés will take place on Tuesday 7th of October at 11am in W8 Manorhamilton and Mohill Family Resourse Centre on 8th October at 11 am. The Connect Cafés will open up conversations in a relaxed space for meaningful conversations around mental health. Tea/Coffee and scones will be served.

Change your Mind Festival – Sligo

The ‘Change your Mind’ Festival will be taking place on Sunday, October 5th from 11am to 7pm in the Hawks Well Theatre in Sligo. The Festival has been in place since 2018, primarily funded through the HSE and Connecting for life. This year’s Keynote speakers are Dr Harry Barry, Daniella Moyles and Shane Casey as well
