September is the perfect time for a fresh start.

As routines return after the summer, it’s an opportunity to make time for something that benefits both your physical and mental wellbeing. That’s why Mental Health Ireland is inviting people across the country to Step Into September.

The challenge is simple: run 30km between 1st and 30th September. You can complete the distance however suits you best – all at once, a little each day, or somewhere in between. Every kilometre counts.

Whether you take on the challenge on your own or with colleagues, friends, your sports club or community group, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds for Mental Health Ireland’s work across Ireland.

Every euro raised supports our free mental health information, education programmes, practical resources, awareness campaigns and community initiatives, helping more people access the support and knowledge they need to protect and improve their mental health.

We encourage participants to create an iDonate fundraising page and aim to raise €300. As a thank you, everyone who registers will receive a FREE Mental Health Ireland T-shirt, and those who complete the challenge will also receive a personalised digital certificate.

Movement can have a powerful impact on our wellbeing. It doesn’t have to be about breaking records or running the fastest time. It’s about taking a step, building healthy habits, connecting with others and making a positive difference for yourself and your community.
